Reduce pollution to levels which are not harmful to biodiversity
To reduce the risk of pollution and the negative impact of pollution from all sources, by 2030, to levels that are not detrimental to the biodiversity and the functions and ecosystem services, considering cumulative effects, among other things: reducing by at least half the excess nutrients that are lost in the environment, including through an application and a cycle of nutrients more efficient; reducing at least by half, the overall risk of the pesticides and highly hazardous chemicals, including through integrated pest management, based in science, taking into account the food security and livelihoods; and also preventing, reducing and working to eliminate plastic pollution.
