To manage wildlife in a sustainable manner for the benefit of the people
Ensure that the management and use of wild species to be sustainable, thus providing benefits to social, economic, and environmental people, especially those who are in vulnerable situations and those most dependent on biodiversity, including through activities, sustainable products and services based on biodiversity improve biodiversity, and protecting and promoting the sustainable customary use by indigenous peoples and local communities.
Note by the Secretariat: This guidance material provides an overview of the target by a brief introduction of key terms, highlighting some of the implications for the establishment of national targets and providing key points and questions guidance for their consideration as part of the exercises of establishment of national targets.
